  • OMG The CAKE!!!!!!

    Someone left the cake out in the rain...... must have been me I am not a cook you know.  I am officially banned in 29 states from cooking.... so I don't know if I can take it, It did take so long to bake it. Now where did I put that recipie again???? LOST!!!!!  what ever will I do .... But it does Look so lovely there with the stripes all running down in the rain..... Oh the PAIN ( note to myself, must never do this again!)  But who am I to say? In the scheme of things this may be the way. So I'll sit back and enjoy it today, from my recliner, looking through my window, as the icing is slowly running down.... so slowly making a puddle on the ground. As I look the colors all mix and swirl ..... my word it has turned into the face of a girl !

    Is this a dream? is this what it seems? and the party is so soon.... I know just what to do, I'll run to Sams Club and by two! they'll never know the difference, It will all be hidden behind the fence! Alas an answer I can do

    cookin' ain't my thang, I just can't get in the swang, but if I can buy it.... I always know what to brang..... Brownies with that secret little twang.... people love them , more than spiking the punch.... get ready for one WILD lunch  :) see you all there...... now don't be square :)

  • Some of my nightmares used to have that video as a theme. The cake is beautiful...depending on the baker, a Sam's Club cake would taste the same for considerably less.

    @ZSA_MD -  Very good! it was listening to the song that brought this on..... that and Valentines day :)

    @Erika_Steele - I always loved the song, but it was strange enough to bring on nightmares !  and for quick and reasonably good  Sams is it around here..... unless you want unbelieveably exeptional deliciousness then you go to a family Bakery that has been in business locally for around 100 years "Kirchoffs" .... when the best isn't good enough.... they do that :)

    And just felt like having a little fun :) thanks for joinng in you all made it so much better :)
